WHAT A RECKELSS LOVER HE IS!

Dearest gentle reader, it’s been ages and I know you’ve missed my love letters.

I apologize. I have been busy dealing with the portion life is dishing to me at the moment and I can assure you that I am making significant progress. I feel tempted to promise that I won’t starve you for so long anymore, but who knows what life is currently cooking.

Well, God spoils you. I hope you know that.

How did we get here, right?

This morning, after I finished my morning rounds on my remote job, I began “lazying” around my house and I laid at the foot of my bed, enjoying my own company. My moment was interrupted by a pain I felt on a part of my body, and I noticed a pimple coming up. In a bid to stop the pimple from growing, I decided to apply one of my creams that clears pimple, but it was up on my mirror shelf. I was not ready get up and pick the cream and blessed be God for giving long legs. I decided to use my leg to get the cream off the shelf. Classic lazy me!

After several attempts, I got the cream but one of my sunglasses had dropped off the shelf and its one of its lenses removed.

I began fixing the glasses, and I was getting frustrated, then I heard an inner voice speak to me, “you could have easily stood up and pick the cream, now you can’t fix your sunglasses”.

I responded, “I can fix it, I can do anything, God helps me.” The voice said calmly, “GOD SPOILS YOU”.

Those words stuck with me, and I actually reflected how spoilt I am and how gracefully I bask in mercy. I had ruined opportunities, yet a better option comes, I had gone astray yet, He abandoned 99 for me, just to bring me back. What a reckless lover he is!

I realized how spoilt I have been since I decided to walk with Him, despite my stubbornness, my tardiness, my unseriousness and my waywardness He still spoils me and treats me like His princess. What beautiful thing to be loved and spoiled by God!

This a reminder my lovelies that you too can be loved and spoiled by God; you just have to let him love you.

Remember, no sin of yours is greater than His love for you.
