Dear gentle reader,
My lords and my ladies,
How are you? And how is life treating you right now?
Well, for me life has been using NYSC to treat me right fairly. You know when you have your life planned out and for some reasons best known to Him, God just tells you your plan is not “planning” and you really don’t have a choice no matter how much you try to manipulate His decisions for you or the amount of denial you live in that your plan will still work.
Recently, I focused more on my fashion biz and rebranded, had everything planned out with the thought of making my HQ base Ib city and so on and so forth.
Me making my plans:

Accepting my reality has been quite a hard pill for me to swallow (be like nah paracetamol tablet), because how will I run a brand with 80% customer base in Ogun, Oyo and Lagos states when I’m here in one of the most rural parts of Kogi state and the fun part is this town community according to the indigenes have not seen anything called electricity in the past 7 years and the height of it all is NO NETWORK! It has really been hard to get locations with good reception.
Living with this reality that I’m really far from home and everything I want hits very hard every single time and it has really been depressing, I had to deliberately take some time off the internet to chill and breathe, and you might be wondering how I am handling life here, yeah I also don’t have an idea of how I am doing it.
I have always liked the Nike brand motto, “just do it” but I have never had to live it, but now I guess I’m already living it. In the process of living it, I have decided not to allow anything come between me and my plans (even though NYSC don come already), so I’ll be reaching out my designers and we’ll be starting a lot soon, watch this space, and mostly my instagram (WhatsApp is not functional till further notice), so please follow _Ayanfebaba on Instagram and I promise a follow back and do well to reach out to me there any time you need me. I will also resume publishing newsletters constantly because you love me and I love you too. I’ll be doing the typing editing and publishing on my phone, I can’t get a place to charge my laptop or even a good network to connect it to the internet.
Don’t let NYSC life take the best of you from you and don’t let anyone or anything come between you and your goals. If I can remain determined, you should also and I believe you can.
Thank you for reading this newsletter. Kindly subscribe if you haven’t, and please use the share button.
With love, light and amala.

Sending you kisses from Takete-Isao, Kogi state.
